JZS Designs aims to display the professional landscape design work, and other projects produced by Jordan Z. Speer.
JZS Designs focuses heavily on post-college professional work designed and often implemented for select clients while working with Indigenous Landscaping Inc. in Omaha, NE. Sketchup is the sole tool offered by the employers for the digital construction of these projects.
Projects produced for the company, outside the realm of 3D generated design, are also exhibited, as well as a portfolio of works created while studying architecture at Iowa State University. The portfolio was completed with programs such as rhinoceros 3D, and adobe suite.

College Architecture Portfolio
2020 - 2022
This portfolio consists of four projects, and features some of the later studio work completed during my 3rd, 4th, and 5th year. The portfolio is structured with two practical projects and two explorative projects. The practical projects are based on real-life wants and needs from the community while the explorative projects blossom from an initial idea, then expand subjectively from the brief.

College Architecture Portfolio
2018 - 2020
This portfolio consists of three projects completed my 2nd and 3rd year at Iowa State University. These projects consisted of significant exploration and research, some practical, and others more large-scale and utopian. These projects were the building blocks for my architectural education, engaging mostly on research analysis, and ideation, while clearly focusing on societal impact.

Seasonal Color
When working for Indigenous Landscaping Inc., I had many responsibilities, one of which included seasonal color. I grew to love the opportunity to create my own mini moments around my client’s homes as the seasons changed.
